If you have a plant that you think may be invasive, check our prioritized list (click thumbnail above) for assistance. Please note that the species listed in RED are highest priority and species listed in BLUE are not yet present in PEI – if you spot one of these species, please report it right away. This list is a work on progress, it does not include all of the invasive species on PEI.
Please note that only those who submit reports of priority species will be contacted.
If you would prefer to submit a paper copy of your report you can print a report form and submit it to Island Nature Trust (15 Crown Drive, Charlottetown).
If you are reporting an invasive that you spotted in the Stratford area, consider also reporting the sighting to the Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group (SAWIG).
Aquatic invasive species should also be reported to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
